- 2 Tablespoons Ketchup (organic natural without additives)
 - 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (vegan)
 - 1 Tablespoon Soy sauce (low sodium)
 - 1 Tablespoon Maple syrup (substitute honey or date syrup)
 - 2 teaspoons Molasses (blackstrap is best)
 
        Optional::
        
- 2 Tablespoons cold water

    Method:
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk until fully combined.
Refrigerate in a sealed container until ready to use.  The sauce will keep for several weeks if refrigerated in a sealed container.
  Optional method for a thicker sauce:  
For a thicker sauce, combine the optional cornstarch and cold water in a separate bowl and whisk to combine.  Add the cornstarch mixture along with all other ingredients in a small sauce pan and heat over medium heat until the mixture begins to boil.  Remove from the heat and let cool.
