With a touch of orange, ginger, and sesame, this makes a great salad dressing or a great sauce to top cold noodle salad, vegetables, or your favorite plant-based burger.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tablespoons White or yellow miso
  • 1/4 cup Rice Vinegar (plain, not seasoned)
  • 1/4 cup Orange juice (Fresh squeezed)
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced ginger (fresh)
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • 2 Tablespoons Toasted sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup Raw cashews Soaked in water for 30 minutes or more
  • 1 Tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds (toasted preferred)
  • 1 whole Green onion / Scallion, thinly sliced (white and green parts)

    Preparation Method:

    Add the miso, rice vinegar, orange juice, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, cashews, flaxseed, and water to a blender and blend on high until the cashews are fully broken down and the mixture is smooth.

    Pour the dressing into a container and stir in the sesame seeds and sliced green onion. Use immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to one week.
