I will be talking about the basics of Molecular Gastronomy at the Broomfield Library.
Molecular gastronomy is a subdiscipline of food science that seeks to investigate the physical and chemical transformations of ingredients that occur in cooking. I will be demonstrating several techniques that you can do in your own kitchen, including an ice cream that can be made in 15 minutes or less from start to finish. You can sign up for the class on the Broomfield Library website. Go to https://www.broomfield.org/281/Adult-Services Click the "Sign up for Programs" option and type in "molecular gastronomy" in the "I Want To Find" box.
