This is a healthy, plant based, Asian inspired cooking class. We will take traditional recipes and enhance the flavor while replacing refined sugar and animal products. If you enjoy Asian foods, or are just looking to experiment with whole food plant based cooking, this class is for you.

Asian food lends itself well to plant based whole food recipes. With inspiration from traditional foods and a little creativity, ,we will be creating several dishes that will excite your taste buds. After enjoying the flavors, you will leave with a packet of recipes that you can create at home.   • Black Rice Mango Sushi Maki Rolls

    Ripe slices of mango, cucumber, carrot, jicama, and pea sprouts wrapped in black rice and nori
    Served with a sweet plant based sugar free japanese unagi style sauce
  • Whole Wheat Bao Buns stuffed with Jackfruit Bulgogi

    Homemade steamed bao buns
    Filled with my take on korean bulgogi made with jackfruit instead of beef or pork
    Topped with a purple cabbage and brussels sprout slaw
    Served with a refreshing Japanese style sunomono cucumber and wakame salad.
  • Forbidden Rice Lettuce Wraps
    Lettuce wraps with vegetables and a special rice that was reserved for the Chinese Emperors to ensure their longevity and good health.
  • Thai Style Spring Rolls with Blueberry Glazed Tofu

    Brown rice wrappers filled with blueberry glazed tofu and fresh vegetables
    Served with a blueberry teriaki sauce
  • Blueberry Ube Halaya
    Ube Halaya is a semi-sweet dessert from the Philippines made from purple sweet potatoes
    My fusion version includes blueberries for a little added sweetness and nutrition

Please note, this class may contain some interactive elements where willing participants have the option to help prepare some of the dishes. Expect to enjoy yourself, have a few laughs, and meet a few new friends!
Payment can be madeonline by credit card, debit card, or paypal. Payment can be made at the time of the class by cash, check, debit card, or credit card.
